Description
Leveling Jack (Screw Jack) for Scaffolding - Pack of 4
This leveling jack (also called screw jack) forms a base for your scaffolding and levels your scaffolding on uneven ground. The jacks fit on the inside of each frame leg allowing the height to be adjusted on each frame leg to account for uneven ground below the scaffolding. We sell our jacks in two sizes to fit all frame styles. Use the 1-1/4″ diameter tube for Waco (red), Bil-Jax (yellow) or Baker/Perry/Multipurpose scaffolding and the 1-3/8″ diameter for Safeway-style (blue) scaffolding.
Our leveling jacks are made with a solid steel tube that is zinc plated to prevent rust and increase lifespan. Each jack has a base plate that measures 5.5in X 5.5in, the total height of the jack is 24in tall and it has 18in of adjustment.
The bottom legs of your scaffolding platform should always have some kind of base. Usually this will be either leveling jacks, base plates, or casters. This base keeps your scaffolding legs from being damaged, provides more stability and safety to your scaffolding platform and in the case of the casters or leveling jacks, gives you more functionality.
When you set up a scaffolding platform on dirt, mud sills are required per OSHA. Mud sills are short pieces of lumber that go between the dirt and the base of the leveling jack. Our leveling jack bases have four holes that allow you to attach the base plate to the mud sill.
Key Features
- Solid Steel Build: Manufactured from high-strength solid steel for maximum load-bearing capacity and durability.
- Zinc Plated Finish: Each jack is zinc-coated to resist rust and extend its service life in outdoor environments.
- Broad Adjustment Range: Features a total height of approximately 24 inches with 18 inches of threaded adjustment for precise leveling.
- Stable Base Plate: Includes a heavy-duty 5.5" x 5.5" base plate with pre-drilled holes for secure attachment to mud sills.
Safety remains the top priority on every jobsite. Consequently, these jacks provide a much more stable foundation than simple base plates. Furthermore, the scaffold leveling jack helps prevent legs from sinking into soft ground or shifting during use. Therefore, maintaining a reliable leveling set in your inventory is a smart investment for jobsite safety.
Professional contractors rely on high-strength hardware to maintain stability at height. Whether you are working on commercial masonry or residential restoration, a reliable scaffold leveling jack is a non-negotiable safety item. Ultimately, upgrading your equipment reduces maintenance downtime and improves overall project efficiency. Each unit is built to withstand the rigors of the construction trade.
