Designed for ease of use, the D6228-2 includes a smooth-operating pulley with a polypropylene rope and heavy-duty spring-loaded rung locks. The 1.63-inch Traction-Tred® D-rungs are slip-resistant for secure climbing, while the dual-action Shu-Lok® feet swivel easily for use on both hard and penetrable surfaces. For added versatility, the base and fly sections separate easily, allowing the base to be used as a single straight ladder.
